I took out 'Bring Your Own' contract with Virgin Mobile before Christmas and asked for my MTN number to be ported. The Virgin shop in the Pavilion Centre said they could only do this if I converted my MTN contract (which had ended) to a 'Pay As You Go' contract first. This I did and then signed the porting document at the Virgin shop.

Nothing happened for a few days so I called the Contact Centre to be told it would be done within two days.

Again nothing happened so I phoned again. This time I was told that they had not received the porting document and that they would email a copy to me which I should complete and return to them and the porting would then take another two days. On receipt I completed the contract immediately.

Two days later I phoned to enquire why the porting had not been done and I was told - two more days. I asked to speak to a supervisor but was told the problem would be escalated.

Well it's two more days and still nothing.

I'm back at work today and customers need to contact me so I have had to re-insert my old MTN sim.

Come on Virgin Mobile, don't treat your customers like this.
