Nashua Mobile
BLACKLISTED by NASHUA MOBILE

Telecommunications

My two year contract came to an end in June 2012. I called them three (3) months before the time to inform them of my decision not to renew the contract. I informed them to please port my number to prepaid. They told me that in order to do this, I would need to stay on the contract for an additional month.

I didn't understand why I needed to stay on for a whole month and pay another premium but I obliged because I couldn't afford any interruptions with my cellphone connectivity. During that period I was running an Artist Booking business so my accessibility was very crucial to my business.

From 27July to 30July (Friday-Monday) *month-end* I had no connectivity whatsoever. This resulted in me losing bookings for my clients and therefore resulted in me losing revenue of R6500.

I called Nashua all weekend and I was repeatedly told that the issue is being resolved.

I refused to pay the additional months bill of R632.29 until my matter was dealt with. After months of reaching nowhere with them I decided to settle my debt with them and move on.

During my home loan application process last month I was informed that Nashua Mobile had blacklisted me.

I can't believe this.
