Horrid adsl line - continuing for years now

My dsl line supplied by Telkom is the bain of my existance at this point. Im not sure if it is because i live outside a major centre and therefor do not qualify for a fully functioning line or whether i was just put on the "avoid that woman" list. Since the installation i have had constant issues with stabillity and connectivity. Currently my line is completely dead. The last "fixing" stint i got to know the techies on first names. After a /_ 6week stint the manager of the Ssolburg office told me to it up or get another service provider. The latest change at the exchange caused me to not even be able to connect to Google before being cut off again. Certainly there has to be someone in the entire Telkom universe that can solve this issue. A 4 year old installation that has never worked properly. Please help!!!
