Contract 1yr - pay for years and years no service

Took out a 1 year contract and approx 5 yrs down the line monthly deductions are still being made. My father in law -same thing. How many others is this happening to. Never used the service. Previously spoken to consultants and nothing cancelled. You don't pay and service is cancelled or blocked but your contract expires and they keep taking your money. If you want out of your contract - you buy your contract out - but when it expires ..it does not. Is this a money making service or what. What happens the now thousands of rands that have been deducted. Will i ever get my money back. Is this only happening to me or is there more people paying for a contract that has long since expired... MWEB surely this needs to be addressed. I would like some feed-back
