I had received a New Sony Xperia handset delivered to my office approximately 2 months ago. The handset was working perfectly fine and then a week or two later it started freezing up to the extent that it was not even possible to reboot it. I took it into Vodacom Store in the Golden Acre, Cape Town city centre. They assessed the handset and acknowledged that there was no physical damage to it and they booked it in to be sent for further assessment.i went to collect my handset at the Vodacom Golden Acre store they said that my phone was "beyond Repair". I spoke to the manager Mr Lovemore Ndlovu and he laughed at me and my situation and said that I should just accept these things as that was how things at Vodacom worked and refused to assist me further. The manner in which I was treated or the fact that my handset went in for a software related problem and returned irreparable. This is truly unbecoming of any Vodacom staff member and I expect this matter to be taken further against Mr Lovemore Ndlovu by the relevant parties.
