Legal hold on upgrading paid account

I went into Cell C La Lucia yesterday to upgrade the above mentioned cell contract and was informed there was a note on system that I have a pending legal matter on my account from September and therefore cannot process the upgrade. Your customer services confirmed this today.

Please can someone explain how this is possible as:

1. My account is paid monthly via debit order (Cell C deducts balance from my account!)
2. When customer services checked my account it reflects it has been paid in full and there are no arrears!

I would like this matter resolved ASAP, as according to my records there is no reason for there to be an arrears amount and the embarrassment of having the staff in the shop advise me that I have a pending legal issue was not pleasant.
