Unilateral contract change (no warning, even)!

On 25 Nov 2013, received unsolicited SMS:

"Your migration to the Smart S package has been completed successfully." and "Welcome to Vodacom! For the next 2 months you get a bonus data bundle to use, worry free! Dial @111# to check your data balance. T&Cs apply."

I had not asked for a migration, so contacted Vodacom via the Web site to query this. I was especially concerned as the Web site indicated this package had less data pm than my existing contract (data is pretty much the only service I use, so this is important - all the extra free minutes and SMSs are worthless to me).

Still 8 or 9 of my 24 contract months to go. They cannot change the terms of my contract without my approval, but felt I need not even be consulted!

If they want to migrate me, then it has to be to something that I would be happy with (at least as much data, and ideally cheaper too but certainly no more expensive).

After about 20 interactions over 3 weeks, still no satisfaction. The latest seems to be:
1) They migrated me as they are discontinuing Business Call.
2) They say they will put me back on Business Call, but it will cost me more!
3) This will only be from Jan (so I've less data in Dec)!
