Three months ago, my mom in law's cell phone was suspended by Vodacom. On enquiry she was told that her account was in arrears because of a number that Vodacom claims to be on her contract. She doesn't know this number, has never signed a contract for this number and never used this number.
She has been to The Glen and Eastgate branches as well as Vodaworld to try and sort this out and get the charges reversed, but to no avail.
Two weeks ago, at Vodaworld, she spoke to a Tiron Naidoo who apologized and promised that the charges would be reversed that afternoon. IT IS STILL NOT DONE!
She has submitted 3 avffidavits, spoken to various people at Vodacom and this issue has still not been sorted out.
The contract has now been converted to prepaid according to Vodacom, but there is still an outstanding amount that they say she owes.
PLEASE can someone sort this out once and for all!
She has had to pay her account in full every month even though it is incorrect otherwise her service gets suspended. She needs to be refunded for the amounts that she paid in addition to her own cellphone bill.
