I am totally displeased with Vodacom's repair process & lack of comms regarding the update on your devise. My Samsung S4 started acting up whenever I received calls. The phone would ring but the minute I answered I was unable to communicate with the person on the other end. The troubles then progressed to the display screen freezing and all sorts of audio media stopped playing. A constant error message would then follow. Took the phone in to Vodacom Repairs Cresta where I was told it's a software mix up and my phone would be ready in 24 hours and what happens, today when I call I'm told the phone has been sent off to advanced repairs with no communication whatsoever. I am officially phone less for 7 - 14 working days. As I am on contract, I have the option to a loan phone which does not accept micro sim cards. Now do I not only have a phone, I have to buy a new sim card which I constantly have to recharge in order to make calls. Why can't I receive a phone that takes a micro sim? If you are selling phones with micro sims surly you should have loan phones that are compatible!!! Totally disappointed, I'm paying a monthly contract & now have to spend over and above to stay connected!!
