I received a sms yesterday highlighting my subscription with Cloudy Alerts. Today I checked my invoice and noted that I have been paying for this service under "content charge".

I phoned MTN who said they will cancel this subscription.

My issue is that I never agreed to this subscription. I received an sms from this subscription provider on 12 October 2013 which I ignored. On the same date I received a subscription activation sms which I believed to be spam which I ignored again, as I did not activate any service. Looking at other comments on HelloPeter it seems as if this service provider, Honolux, easily fabricates evidence to highlight a contractual agreement. In my case I know I never agreed to any subscription. I have also never used any of their services!

MTN needs to protect all their clients against SPAM, whether SPAM sms's, or these WASPs (which I also deem to be SPAM). My contract is with MTN and no 3rd party has right to claim subscription payments to be made via them, if MTN has no approval from ME!!!
