Billing after contract has been cancelled!!!

I cancelled my Vodacom contract promised that my last bill would be on the 30th April 2013, then I receive a sms 8 months later that they are taking legal action against me for an outstanding amount of R737.10 which i received a bill for on where that got the amount from and they wont tell me eitherband I must also pay their legal fees. This is absolutely shocking and disgusting how a company works thriving off conning people for money to obviously keep their fake image of a company running!! DON'T USE THEM they are a bunch of frauds!!!
