I upgraded my MTN contract on 02/12. Since than my mobile phone is constantly not registered on the network. Now at 8.08pm I could not make a call or received calls. I went back to the shop in San Marco Plaza on Monday and the Indian assistant said: "The lady who is responsible for your sim swap did not do her job". I made a call to the JHB office this morning and was cut off after a while. Suddenly I could phone. To go back to the shop is a pain because you need t wait sometimes up to 45min to be serviced with other people waiting. Strangely this happend to all 3 my MTN contracts and an internet contract. I also use a corporate contract with VODACOM who is on the ball. My contract with them is 5 years old and I never had problems to upgrade. Why can MTN not do the same? I learned my lesson and this will be my last contracts ever with MTN.
