Beginning October my HTC One X did not recognise my SIM card anymore. Greenpoint took the phone and SIM card and asked for a contact number. With them having my SIM card and phone, I had to supply a different number (my sisters), but told them to contact me via email. After a week of not hearing anything (about a quote on the fixing the screen as well) I went to the shop and 3 days after that my sister got a quote for R2, 3k and estimated 3-5 working days, which was accepted by me.
Then it started. Every week I'd contact them (via email or going in to the shop) and was told that they would get back to me. Paul Oberholzer was the only person that ever replied to an email, but the rest kept contacting my sister.
6 weeks after she told me I can go pick up my phone. They wanted to give me a different used, white phone (instead of fixing mine, black). After another in-shop rant, they sent it back. I contacted them after a week and got: "Sorry, only white available, but we can give you a cover".
Today I picked up the phone. The cover was a Experia cover, which doesn't fit. They will not refund me for my lost contract airtime/data and I STILL had to pay R2, 3k for a used, white phone.
