I am not a Telkom subscriber, but have a Telkom pole & connection on my property. I wanted to get subscription but for the reasons below, will not. I called in October to report the pole came out of foundation, hence loose, and the cable detached from my roof, also hanging loose. After months of trying to get Telkom to attend to the problem, and calling and logging this issue numerous times, I was left frustrated at every occasion as no record could be found of my calls. As a result of this terrible service, I have decided to not get a Telkom line and want the pole and cables removed as it is on my property. Your call centre staff (10210) are totally arrogant and instead of addressing the problem, I have been transferred from pillar to post as your consultants rather prefer to make the problem go away instead of addressing it. Absolutely shocking!!!
