After my telkom line went dead, I logged a fault with Telkom and was given a reference number (357CWZ210513). Days later, a telkom technician came to investigate. He suspected that the fault was being caused by the fact that the Telkom pole was overgrown with ivy weeds that had covered up the box on the pole. The pole in question does not stand in my property, but on my neighbours erf.
A week later, I came home to find a heap of leaves/branches dumped on my verge in front of my house. I logged numerous complaints (ref 523386) on the 5th and 14 th June to Telkom to come and remove their refuse, but no avail. To top it all, my line was still dead. More than a month since I initially logged the fault!
Telkom wins the prize for poor service, hands down!
