I lodged a case with Cell C after receiving a statement in the mail for an account I knew nothing about. Three extra debits were taken off my bank account. I specifically requested that the investigators report to me what the findings were, but all I got was an sms saying there was an "error" and I would be refunded. I am highly appalled at how little Cell C cares about customer service; the least they could do would be to render an explanation as to how someone could open an account on the system with my name and take my money without my authorisation! How do I know it won't happen again? Identity is a CRIME and there is not even an apology or detailed report! The consultant put me through to the legal department as she could not tell me anything, and the line goes dead!
