No network coverage in Joburg

Why, over the last month, can I only pick up GSM signal? What's the point of you selling me a smart phone that I cannot use because your netwrok?

I have been complaining since January 2013 about poor signal at my home and work. I live in Randburg and work in Rivonia. I do not get 3G coverage and over the last month I do not even get 2G, I am stuck on GSM! Why is the network so poor in my area and why has nothing been done about this. It's not as if I live in the sticks. Actually I get better coverage when I am not in Joburg. You need to fix this your network as this is ridiculous for the price we pay.
