I had a Vodacom account which expired and I cancelled it, I was not aware that I cant keep my e-mail, (we use the e-mail for business, So I didnt want to get a new e-mail address. Since Friday I could not use my e-mail, because I took out a new contact by Telkom with much better service and packages.
I phoned Telkom and they said I could still use the old Vodacom adres, it is just my settings that must change.. I phoned Vodacom and explained what happend, and I had to go into the Vodacom shop and pay the reconection fee. After they send me from one person to the next, for hours that I tried).
The first guy I spoke to wanted to help me but the line went dead. When I phoned again a coloured guy answered and refused to help me because my account was with Vodacom, (and I explained the whole situation, he still said he is "not allowed" to help me.
Now I am waiting for the line to be re connected, I explained that this is a matter of urgency, because we use it for business and get out work through the e-mail..Yesterday when I phoned the lady said she'll phone me, she must phone Alberton, I am still waiting.
