Placed order as new customer for Closer 2 calling plan with uncapped 1mb adsl early last week. Provided them all details, debit order etc. Was told this package comes with free install for new customer

29/01/13 received the following SMS:
''Dear Mr.. your installation for order (71617269) is scheduled for (20130130 MORNING)..

Arranged to take the morning off. However, next day got this SMS twice:
"Dear Mr.. a Telkom technician has been dispatched... Please note that this is an all-day appointment..

12:10pm called 10210 to enquire. Agent didnt help, told me should have called 8am if I wanted earlier service its too late now. Did not bother to take any details.

I accepted it and arranged to take a Leave day.By about 4pm I called 10210, spoke to Rehana to see if I could be transferred to technician, named Aubrey. No answer, left voicemail for callback.

Today 8am spoke to Mike, technician said can come now but needs authorisation. 9:50 spoke to Rose who said system says technician was refused entry to premises, she will follow up, 12:25 Lucky said order was cancelled. Had to reapply voice only and for my trouble he'll arrange for adsl install free afterward

Unprofessional!!!
