Hi,

I have already logged a complaint today with a cell c representative at cell c call centre.

I noticed that there seems to be something deducted from my airtime as it was just decreasing without use.

Cell C representative confirmed that I was subscribed to a WASP service [URL Removed] This was done without my consent. I received an SMS on the 15th of November asking me to SMS stop to unsubscribe from the service and so I DID SMS "stop" to 37918 as requested and never heard from since. This happened on the 15th of November.

According to the South African law regarding WASP services, WASPS are not allowed to contact me in ANY way regarding ANY offers I do not consent to. WASPS are not allowed to bill me for any of their services I did not subscribe to.

Cell C also refused to provide any proof regarding deductions or consent to this service.

I would like to know where the proof is that I subscribed to this service. I would like a complete refund for these unlawful deductions. I have contacted the WASP with similar details.

I am also demanding that Cell C block ALL future attempts to subscribe to WASP services on my number as I will NEVER use a WASP service!
