Cell C allowed illegal billing on account by WASP

Cell C allowed a WASP to bill my account illegally without any consent from my side.
I was browsing on the internet and got an SMS on my mobile device that said the following.

Welcome: [URL Removed] This subscription service is charged at R20 per day. To unsubscribe send THUMBS STOP to 37445. Support at [URL Removed] or call 0213009895

I did not respond because I knew I did not subscribed to any service. I check my bill and sure as someone is billing me for something.

I phoned Cell C customer services and they clearly took the side of the WASP and said that I must have clicked on a link of the WASP and agreed to receive the content.

Upon asking what am I receiving I was told games ringtones etc. What BS I can get this for free on Google Play Store.

Cell C customer care then gave me a number where to unsubscribe, SMARTCALL TECHNOLOGY SOLUTIONS 011 507 4630, Mon-Fri 8a.m - 5pm excl public holidays and it is a chargable cal.

How convenient for Cell C & WASP they now also charge me for the call to cancel this illegal subscription.

I will never TRUST Cell C as a company they allow thugs to money from me and it was made clear to me that there is no refund.
