My debit order goes off on the last day of the month. On 3/4 occasions 8ta put thru the debit order in the middle of the month and twice for double the amount. Not only this, but when i called to give one months noitce to cancel, 8ta said this can only be done in store. So i went to the Tygervalley store who then told me this cancellation can only be done via the call center, however since i had taken off work to get this done they would assist. However the next month the contract was not cancelled and the debit order still went off my account. So i went to the Kenilworth Center branch and did the cancellation again, the consultant there said the Tygervalley person who assisted me did not do this correctly and so he did the cancellation again. Yet the debit order still went off the next month. Tried calling 8ta and after explaining the sequence of events to a call center official who clearly has no clue what they doing i got cut off... spent 30 minutes explaining at my own expense (airtime). Very frustrating and disappointed, yet not suprised as this is just a norm for 8ta and most big companies in South Africa.
