Termination of services - no response

I have been dialing the Telkom Call Centre 3x today to cancel certain (NOT EVEN ALL) services that I subscribe to and had to hold on in excess of 30 minutes every time without them answering the call. That makes it 90 minutes of my life wasted holding on for them. Surely there is something to be said in terms of their unwillingness to accept calls from customers wishing to terminate their contract and services legitimately and in accordance with the service contract.
