I have received a pre-bill of R10k on my data line. Apparently run up over 1 week!!! Which is completely outrageous. I was only notified of unusual activity on my account when it reached this amount. As my account never goes more than R500 on a rare occasion, I believe this to be completely unfair, a more realistic warning would have been R2000. I have logged a query as to what has caused it but I have yet to get feedback or my expectations managed.
Despite being promised a 24hour turnaround initially. I have followed up with a number of consultants at the call centre and even gone into one of the shops but I get the same response of we will get back to you or it is being dealt with by another department, who the public can not deal with directly. There appears to be no means of being able to escalate the problem!!!
