I phoned Poynting in search of a device that will improve my cell phone signal at home after hearing their commercials on radio. I phoned the company in the morning to confirm that they have a device to boost the signal on my Cell reception. I was assured that they have a device that will work and they also have stock on hand. I drove from Pretoria to their offices in Samrand. On arrival I explained that I wanted the unit as suggested. Only then did they ask what phone I have. On replying an I-phone I got told that the device won't work on an Iphone due to the antenna situated on the side. The lady at reception had little empathy if I may add, like it was my fault for not asking them if the product is compatible or not. Please can someone explain as why the sales person could not ask this simple question? I-phones are very popular cell phones so I can hardly think that it has not happened before. Thank you for waiting my time and money Poynting. I'm really disappointed!
