Shocking Service and a Rip-off!!

I'm extremely disappointed with Autopage and would discourage anyone from signing up with this unnecessary middle-man.

On 26/10/2013, I attached my mobile to my laptop. Unbeknownst to me and despite my laptop being connected to my adsl, the data accidently went through my mobile resulting in a data bill of R 13, 000

Autopage's service is unacceptable for the following reasons:

-My limit was R7, 000. Not only did Autopage not inform me that my limit was being approached, but also not when it was breached. Furthermore, they continued to charge me until my bill reached 13k.
-Data bundles are 17c per MB however, Autopage have charged me more than four times that! Had I been informed of my approaching limit, I could have removed my phone or selected a data bundle. They have flouted the spirit of the Consumer Protection Act (CPA) all in the name of profits.
-It has been 4 weeks and I have yet to receive any meaningful feedback. Despite this they have threatened to suspend my account and charge a reconnection fee!

Not only is their service poor but Autopage flouts the CPA and places people in debt without following proper procedures and processes. Avoid them at all costs!
