PHONE NOT WORKING, 2M ADSL OPERATING AT 0.26M

Hi,
Once again we have issues with our telephone which has been dead now for a good few days. We have been experiencing issues for years and no one can assist. Firstly, the service is totally pathetic and most of the engineers that have assisted are not qualified to do the work due to the lack of ability and knowledge. This is totally unacceptable behaviour. Secondly, we have just tried to upgrade our ADSL line from a 1M (which was very very slow - Lucky if we got dial up speeds) to a 2M line. No one gets back to us or assists us. We are just being ignored once again. Thirdly we are not paying the price of a 2M line if we are only getting such speeds due to Telkom's inefficiencies and disinterest in resolving this ongoing matter. No-one in the IT industry would accept such slow speeds or lack of quality.

We request for a senior manager to get back to us in this regard so that we can be switched to another exchange or have the current box and/or bad quality cables in the street replaced as people cannot work or use services that are offered. I feel as though we are back in the dark ages with such simple technological challenges that this large company cannot even correct.
