NO SERVICE FROM AUTOPAGE INSURANCE

The way you operate your business, goes against all values as prescribed by the Consumer Act.
This is the second loss I have had in 5 weeks and your guys are rather finding excuses not to assist me, or rather how you can frustrate and infuriate me.

My son have had his cellphone at a rugby camp and you guys did not want to pay it out, even though I got the cellphone from Autopage. We upgraded 084 510 2041 a month ago at a cost of R500 per month to get a replacement phone. Once again from Autopage!!

The contract we upgraded is a spare number that we might use on occasion for a temporary staff member.

His phone got at school out of his locked locker. Once again I am given the run around and told I am not using the right sim in the phone.

The bottom line is - I am paying insurance for a specific phone to Autopage. That phone has now been and I would like to claim against my policy. Nowhere to my knowledge have I signed any agreement that I will just use a specific sim in an insured device as I am insuring the device and not the simcard.

I am ready to take this to the ombudsman as it contravenes both FAIS and Consumer Rights Acts.
