I am a loyal MTN custormer and have a contract with MTN which I have never upgraded or renewed. I went to MTN Secunda to enquire about options that I may have because my contract has expired on October 2013. I was informed that the account has been upgraded already of which I did not make an upgrade. I am a Identity and victim. I was told to go to the police station to write an affidavit as well as get a certified copy of my ID, which I did do and I submitted it in. My problem now is that money is being pulled from my account every month by MTN but nothing is being done to investigate the incident. What can MTN do for me now? What systems have you got in place to deal with this kind of problem? Will I continue paying for what I never executed until the contact expires? What was the reason for me to send an affidavit if nothing is being done?
