Cancellation Request not honoured

I am assisting my nanny to cancel her Virgin Mobile contract. I called the call centre on 19 July 2013 and was told that an amount of R751 must be paid to cancel the contract which included amounts owing and the early termination penalty. I paid the amount and then confirmed with the cancellation department that the contract was cancelled. The contract holder also confirmed with the cancellation department that the contract was cancelled. This month Virgin again started contacting my nanny and threatening to blacklist her due to non-payment of her contract subscription amount, I have bene holding on for the head office for two days. I have managed to confirm that the contract is in fact, according to Virgin's records, cancelled.

I have tried on numerous occassions to call the cancellations department and the line just rings. I wish to subit a formal complaint as this servicce is unacceptable.

The contract must be cancelled as on 19 July and no further amounts, may be claimed.
