I went to upgrade my contract, after numerous calls and sms from 8ta/ telkom that my contract was due for an upgrade. The process had to go through a credit check but I was assured that they would contact me once this was done and I could collect the Phone.
No one got back to me and when I went back to the store a day later the phone was already given to someone else even though the credit check was successful.
The Phone number of the store I was given is never answered and the email of the person I dealt with was also incorrect.
I am now waiting for more than 10 days for any one of the stores to get stock.
I hear a new reason why they still have no stock every day.
The waterfront branch assured me that there was a phone for me at the canal walk store after contacting the manager on duty there but that due to a technical fault they could not yet issue it.
On Saturday I went back to the store, there was no device kept aside for me and my Upgrade had been canceled by the Manager on duty.
He could not give me a reason as to why he canceled it.
I have not received a single call to inform me of the progress and none of the stores can say when they will be
getting stock.
