I have faxed through an instruction for a contract cancellation as well as a number port out to another service provider. This is due to your bad service over the years (I do not not intend to change networks).
After faxing the cancellation forms I received no acknowledgement. I then sent your customer service an email to alert them to the fact that the fax was sent. They were unwilling or unable to read the email and elected to cut and paste a standard response requesting a bunch of irrelevant security information (you only need to process the fax that has already been sent!). I then tried to call your call centre but (as usual) there is no answer.
Please confirm successful processing of my contract cancellation but note that I need to retain my number to port it to another service provider. Furthermore, please confirm the earliest date at which I am permitted to port the number (I do realise that I need to pay Nashua until the end of December but would like to get to the new service provider as soon as possible to avoid further interactions with Nashua).
