Iphone 4s wifi is not working on phone

For some reason my wifi button on my iphone stopped working, and even after following all the steps that Vodacom have recommended to try and solve the problem like updating, resetting, backing up ect... due to the fact that alot of other customers have complained about the same problem of their wifi breaking. After taking it in to see if they can repair it they just simply said they cannot repair it the whole phone would need to be replaced. Vodacom then proceeded to say they just cant do anything because my phone is actually 7 days out of its warranty. Its just ridiculous the horrible service i got from the vodacom store where they literally said there is nothing they can do for me i would need to replace the phone and it would cost R4000. How in the world can they now expect me to still pay the phone for a whole year and it doesn't even work properly. Vodacom service simply is just stupid and even though i have been a vodacom customer for so long I am now going to cancel my contract and move on to MTN because they just offer me better service. Because vodacom is doing nothing to help me. Vodacom says power to you but they do not live up to their brand promise.
