Loss of 3G DATABUNDLES bought today on Promotions

I have two contracts on this account with Nashua Mobile. The TOP UP 315 contract is now causing serious concern as I've purchased a promotional 3Gig DATABUNDLE @ approximately 04:00 this morning.By 12:00 today the databundle was exhausted as well as the balance of airtime I had on my Top Up 315 account. I just spoke to Nicolas Balm @ Customer Care who want to convince me that the "AUTO-ADD WIDGETS" should be unchecked on PLAYSTORE SETTINGS as apperently this setting is eating away DATA if not un-checked while my AUTO-UPDATE APPS is set "TO UPDATE OVER Wi-Fi ONLY". I have a SAMSUNG NOTE 2 and I've checked my widgets for possible updates, it does not seem to be updated as the Customer Care Centre operator wants to convince me was the case. I've updated all my APPS on PLAYSTORE via Wi-Fi on Sunday, 27 October 2013. Most of those is also according to my understanding WIDGETS so how is it possible that WIDGETS is eating away 3 GIG of DATA in more or less 7 hours since the DATA BUNDLE was purchased??? I also checked my APPLICATION MANAGER - RUNNING APPLICATIONS to monitor the amount of data used by each APP and it still do not seem possible that these apps running can eat away 3GIG!!!
