I purchased a Huawei mobile wifi modem on contract through Telkom mobi a few months ago. From the start i could not get the device to work at home or at my office, despite it being confirmed by each person i have dealt with at Telkom Mobi that there is definitely signal in both of these areas.

I have been in to various branches to try resolve the issue over the last months. I was referred to the call centre each time, as "only they could assist with my query". They logged numerous cases, promising someone would contact me to come to the site to assist. In each case I never heard from anyone. Each time I phoned back to enquire, I was given a different excuse as to why someone didn't contact me or visit the site.

The most recent visit to the gateway store ended with yet another unkept promise. Apparently no one came to see me as the previous call-centre consultant did not take down my addresses. (What a poor excuse. They could have phoned me...!!)

As normal no one has contacted me in the promised time frame.

I am tired of this lack of service. I am paying hundreds of Rands each month for a device which is defective, and a service which is nothing short of non-existent.
