46 days & handset still not collected

On 13 September I told Vodacom Direct that I wasn't happy with my upgrade handset and wanted to change. Long story short, its been 46 days and still my handset hasn't been collected. This has involved 5 phonecalls (given false information, told my query was closed without reason, told to speak to Corporate Helpdesk, etc.), a visit to a Vodashop, 4 emails to a Customer Liaison Officer, 10 Facebook posts (where everyone promises to escalate the query to a different department) and now 3 Twitter posts.

On Friday someone called Rivaj, a Vodacom Direct manager, said my phone would be collected by Monday, Tuesday at the latest. I spent the whole day today calling him on what he claimed to be his private number (082 277 4659) but it went straight to the "user is not available, please call later" message. Tuesday is now over. And nothing. Nada. Zip. Zilch.
