My prepaid number 0725715615 was converted to a contract by Vodacom without my consent on the 24/10/2013 at 07:03am and credited with airtime of R49. Shortly after that, at around 14:00pm, my same line stopped working. I could not make calls nor receive any calls. I approached Vodacom Southgate on 25/10/2013 to enquire why my line has stopped working and about the messages I got. And was referred to Edgars and a third party company known as RMCS. I could not get my number to be reinstated to prepaid and to work from the 24 to date. The three companies, Vodacom, RMCS and Edgars committed jointly. Vodacom benefitted with the contract through RMCS, the latter credits airtime and Edgars reimburse airtime transferred from the customer's account. This is a disgrace and unacceptable practise. The consultant at Vodacom told that I was not the first customer and she could not help me. I should wait for RMCS to sort this mess. But I am upset that Vodacom allowed RMCS to tempter with my prepaid line without consent and now my line does not work at all even though they can see that the airtime from RMCS is unused.
