Cell C
Rude, irritating and unnecessary marketing

Over the last couple of days I have had a phone call from an 087 number (0873107556) which when answered, immediately hangs up. When I try to phone it back, it never connects and simply drops the line. Strangely, immediately after the call to my cell is dropped, my Telkom land line rings and it is the same (logical assumption) person.

Today, it happened again. This time however my mother answered the land line call and they responded. This is how I know it is Cell C. After I took over and demanded that they desist from calling me and asking them how they even got my number, the woman on the line simply hung up. I admit, I was not overly friendly.

This kind of thing is most unsettling, unrecognisable numbers that can't be reached, hanging up, all for marketing. Let me tell you this Cell C, I will NEVER buy any of your products and I will make sure I am loud enough that none of my friends or associates do either.

Stop phoning me on my existing cell number to sell me another that I obviously (to me anyway) don't need.

Cell C, please, for the love of (and I know you're not the only ones), find another way to sell your products.
