I was disgusted with the way in which my recent upgrade was handled by a Vodacom Dealer in the Tygervalley shopping centre. I dealt with 2 sales people and 2 managers. All I wanted was for them to change the handset I had chosen for a different one as the handset was never demonstrated to me or the contract explained in any detail. As it turns out I eventually had to sell the new handset and purchase another model. Furthermore I was shocked and disgusted to find out that I had been charged in excess of R500 for data. This was apparently for the setup of the phone I had received with the upgrade. I fail to understand how the dealer can hide behind the excuse that they are a "Franchise" and therefore follow their own rules!! I am now stuck with a blackberry phone that does not match the contract I have upgraded to because, again, nothing was properly explained to me.

I would really like someone from Vodacom, (my cellphone provider), to contact me in order to further discuss this matter.
