I completed my upgrade online, only to discover that the upgrade was in fact a new contract.
When I queried this fact on the 9th October 2013, I was given the run-around from Upgrades to Online orders to Cancellations, each in turn saying it was the others division.
When finally I managed to speak to someone, I was given a reference # S3-T3530-OV702 and told Vodacom will contact me within 48hours. 48 hours passed and no call. I finally phoned back on the 10th October, only to be told that the reference was logged incorrectly and it will be adjusted to the correct number and once again, someone will call me back after the turn around time. Failing another call from Vodacom, I phoned them on the 15th October and once more was told the problem will be escalated.
Today, 17th October, I phoned once more and was told that the call was only logged on the 14th October, and that no one has been assigned to my case as of yet. I was also told that the previous reference number does not even appear on the system, and was given my new reference # A1-052V-2982AN
Will someone please help me as I am getting extremely frustrated with the complete lack of customer service.
