APPAULING SERVICE - why am I not surprized

CAN'T IMAGINE WHY?
As the Consumer, I expect service especially if I have been a loyal customer to the company for more than 8 years!
Calling Vodacom's call centre is like pulling teeth - their agents need training.
George, who left me hanging for what felt like at least 1-2 min before even saying hello on the other side? When wanting to escalate, all managers are ALWAYS in a meeting, how convenient.
Then Charlotte (a supervisor, or so she said) preceded treating me like a criminal by again asking me their 20 security questions to prove that I am who I say I am.
I requested cancelation on a contract which is not yet in effect & where the handset has not been delivered to me. I called them what felt like a billion times - It is a week later since I tried cancelling & needless to say they could still not confirm that the cancellation was done.
They are quick to sign you on for another 2 years, but cancelling is like requesting a holiday to Mars!
You might ask why am I cancelling? Because VODACOM'S SERVICE IS APPAULING! CANT WAIT TO JOIN THEIR BIGGEST COMPETITOR...
