Disgusting, Dishonest VODACOM -Stay away all!!

I fell in arears with my vodacom contract. In May I owed them R5000. My number was blocked (rightly so) and I accepted at the time that I will have to pay them before its unblocked. Every month they invoice me for another R1000. I have tried numerous calls to the customer care centre, visit ALL their shops as well as their account department in this area, and even tried e-mails to their customer care on their website. Eventually someone phoned me and asked what it was I wanted. I replied that I want to pay off my account at R3500 p/m and that i'm willing to pay the 1st installment now. I was even willing to let go the R1000 in data and subscription that I have paid for nothing the past few months. I was told in no uncertain terms by a very rude sales lady on the phone that it would be better for me to pay them R18k and get out of my contract.
This has got to be the rudest, most incompetent and dishonest company I have ever dealt with.
I am as I'm a small fish but people please take note: NEVER use VODACOM again!!!
