Bad Service, Incompetence and Passing the Buck!!!

I have held a Vodacom cellular contract since 2002, and have upgraded many times with them. This year however, has been the most frustrating and infuriating experience I have ever had with them. They provided me with a Nano sim instead of a micro sim and this resulted in the phone being damaged (sim reader damaged!). I had logged a service request for a replacement at the custome rwalk-in center in Menlyn mall, and been phoning various call center numbers every day since 22 September, NO BODY WANTS TO MAKE A DECISION OR DEAL WITH THIS! even though it is clear that it was due to their error that the phone was damaged. they just keep referring me from one department to another and I am just going around in circles with them. I am now considering handing this matter over to a Lawyer. I am just sick and tired of dealing with these people now... extremely frustrated and angry. They need to replace my handset, its clear, but nobody wants to take responsibility. They are very quick to secure the upgrade deal, but never want to fix anything or deal with customers once thay get you sign on the dotted line!!! Vodacom upgrade? Never again! You have now lost a 10 year old customer!
