My uncle went to Portugal for a 7 month period and forgot to have his prepaid phones recharged while away. I called customer care and was advised to go to a vodashop for assistance, if we did it quickly we may be able to get the same numbers back as they were only deleted on 30/09/2013. Upon arrival the shop was quite busy, we were ignored for 15 minutes. eventually I approached the office for assistance (people in uniform were moving in and out). The girl who assisted had a very bad attitude and told me she was on lunch. At 17:10 on lunch, we were only assisted at 17:25. I eventually also asked for the manager, he was of no assistance, while more people were arriving, none were assisted.

We completed forms and were promised that the sim cards would be activated within 48 hours. I have phoned Vodacom repeatedly. The simcards are still not activated and it seems the one number have been given to someone else on 2/10/2013.

As usual Vodacom service is not what it should be. The telephone number on the receipt is not for this Vodacom 4u either. This girl obviously did not do what she promised to do. BAD SERVICE is what we've come to expect from Vodacom, isn't it?
