Vodacom
Paid in full but still charging monthly rates

Telecommunications

I opened an account with Vodacom in September 2012 I then settled the account on the 27 November 2012 (I have got proof of payment) I then contacted Vodacom to prematurely cancel the contract I then received a confirmation email that it was done. March 2013 I opened a new cellphone contract with Vodacom, the agreement was that an amount of R768 will be debited from my account for the 24 month period. Vodacom then decided that they will deduct the monthly premiums from the "credit" we were in. After receiving the first statement from Vodacom I contacted them to find out why we were in credit they said that someone from their admin department will contact me within 48hours, that was never done. I contacted them again after the debit order did not go off, again no one has contacted me back. On the 1 October 2013 Vodacom deducted an amount of R1100 from my bank account.

Deeply dissapointed in the leading telecommunications company for lack of communication.

Could this matter be resolved as soon as possible, and can someone please attend to this as soon as possible.

Regards

Mr CS Blake
