WHY MUST I ORDER MYSELF A CHARGER FROM CHINA???

I HAVE A HUAWEI SLIM 7 TABLET WITH CELLC ON CONTRACT EXPIRING JULY 2014, THE CHARGER IS FAULTY AND I CAN'T USE THE TABLET .I WENT TO CELLC SHOP THEY TELL ME I MUST ORDER THE CHARGER MYSELF FROM CHINA,!!! AFTER WRITING TO HELLOPETER THEY RESPONDED
