I have recently had a cell phone upgrade through MTN, I had requested a iphone 5. As our company has 6 contracts with MTN we where illegible for 2 upgrades. We collected the 2 phones, more than a month late due to bad communication on there behalf.
When we collected the 2 phones, one was faulty. As MTN has a return policy of 7 days I notified them immediately. The did not have stock of the item. However they expect me to hand the phone back with in the 7 days.
When trying to work to a solution, they where just not interested!!! I even suggested that the just swop out my sim card for one that will fit my old phone till they have stock, however then they expect me to pay for a sim card and then pay again for another one when I receive the new phone.
I cannot believe how they can get away with this type of attitude and service!!! It is disgusting!!! I most certainly would not recommend this service provider, as they clearly just want you to sign a paper and forget about you, its probably due to this pathetic service they had to move to a automated call center.
It is truly disgusting that the customer actually has no leg to stand on, they simply dont care about you!!!
