CONSULTANT WAS ABRUPT NOT AT ALL CONSIDERATE

On the 24th September I called MTN Call center as I needed assistance with doing sim swap and called the toll free no and the lady who came through to assist me had to do the security check, asking questions pertaining to my old number and what happened.

I have a feeling that those security questions are not really customer friendly as well the people at the call centre do not have peoples skills, after I could not answer correctly the questions which she asked me the last amount i loaded on the sim card before I lost my phone about 3 weeks prior the incident then she told me she cannot help me I must go to the police station for an affidavit and with all sort of along list of things to do before I could get my old no of 6 years and which was rica (d) under my name and ID.

I then went to Pick n Pay where I bought my sim and the consultant at pick n pay just advised me to go to the MTN Outlet where they did it without asking me complicated questions.

As well that woman was abrupt and rude instead of her advising me about the MTN outlet as my other option she just left me frustrated.
