We applied for Telkoms promotional internet package / landline at R 399.00 per month, which came with 5 Gigs of internet. Exactly 3 weeks ago our landline and internet was installed. The modem stopped working over the weekend, hence I placed a call out
Clearwater Telkom told us that we now need to purchase a new modem at R 1000.00 as the promotional modem comes with no guarantee. I find this disgusting seeing as the modem is only 3 weeks old - surely one should access this case, as the technician even confirmed that we obviously were given a dud modem.
What started out as exceptional service and value has now left a sour taste.
