MTN Century City Laptop

Laptop purchased from MTN last year, took it in still under guarantee, To MTN Century. Function problem, they agreed to look at it. After 2 weeks, ( August), MTN got back to Mr Jordaan and stated it would cost R 2000.00 Faulty LCD. Mr Jordaan informed MTN, he will contact his Insurance Provider.and asked MTN to send the Laptop back so he can proceed with his insurance claim.
After 3 weeks MTn contacted Mr Jordaan requiring a R 400 fee for looking at the laptop. Mr Jordaan informed MTN that there was no mention when he brought the laptop in that there would be a handling fee. He informed Yasiem the Manager, and he reassured Mr Jordaan that the Acer Laptop will be sent to him with no charge and promised it will be returned in about 2 weeks. Thursday 19 September at 17:40 Mr Jordaan receives a call from someone else at MTN stating that the laptop has a cracked LCD screen, and the Laptop is in JHB and the service fee of R 400 must be paid. Mr Jordaan till this date has not received a copy of contract that MTN said they would provide, as he misplaced his one. The orginal promises have not been met. Mr Jordaan would like the laptop returned to him free of charge.
